Questions about the application process

How can I apply?

The best way to apply for a position at INTREAL is to use the online application form. Fill in the required fields, upload your application documents and submit your application with just a few clicks.

If you have any questions or technical difficulties, please contact the person named in the job advertisement or send us a message here.

Will I receive an acknowledgement of receipt?

After submitting your application, you will automatically receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, please check your internet connection and your spam folder. If the problem persists, please send us a message.

When will I receive feedback on my application?

You will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt via email as soon as your application has been received. We strive to respond to your application as quickly as possible. If you have any questions about the current status, you can contact us at any time via email.

What is the application process like?

The application process is divided into two main phases: First, we’ll get to know each other in an initial virtual interview via Microsoft Teams. If there’s mutual interest, a second, in-person interview will follow at one of our locations. After all interviews are completed, you’ll receive final feedback from us promptly.

Prefer to use the informal "du" or the formal "Sie"?

In our daily work, we use first names, while the more formal “Sie” is used during the application process. We look forward to switching to first names in our collaboration soon.

Can I apply for multiple positions at the same time?

Yes, that’s possible, and the HR department can see that you’ve applied for multiple positions. If several positions interest you, feel free to contact the people listed for the job postings beforehand to discuss which position might be the best fit for you.

Can I also submit a speculative application?

Yes, you can always submit a speculative application to INTREAL. Please indicate in your application which areas, positions, and locations you are interested in, as well as your availability. This will help us find a suitable position for you more easily.

Questions about training and dual study programmes

What school qualification is required for the training?

The required qualifications for our apprenticeships are listed in the job advertisement. Generally, either a university entrance qualification (Abitur) or a subject-specific university entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife) is required. For a dual study program, a university entrance qualification is always necessary.

Does the application have to be submitted within a specific timeframe?

We don’t have rigid application deadlines. You can apply at any time as long as the job posting is published on our website.

Is there a chance of being hired after the apprenticeship?

We look forward to working with our trainees and students in the long term, even after they have completed their training.

Is it only possible to apply online?

We prefer online applications via our application form in the respective job posting. Alternatively, you can also send your application by post or email.

What documents should be included in an application?

We would appreciate a cover letter outlining your motivation for the apprenticeship. Your school certificates are also very important to us for an initial assessment. Additionally, your CV will tell us whether you have already gained any practical experience. Certificates, references, or internship certificates are also welcome.

What entry-level opportunities are there at INTREAL?

We offer a variety of student jobs – feel free to check out our job postings. Internships are also possible with us.

We offer direct entry positions and a trainee program for graduates.

What compensation do working students receive?

For working students, the starting hourly wage is between 14 and 16 euros. The exact amount depends primarily on the type of work and the required expertise.

How much vacation time is a working student entitled to at INTREAL?

Working students at INTREAL are entitled to four weeks of paid leave per year.

Do you receive compensation during the internship?

Interns at INTREAL generally receive remuneration, at least for mandatory internships – but in most cases also for voluntary (student) internships.
